Sunday morning prayer time: Every Sunday morning there is a short time of prayer from 10:00 – 10:15 am in the Minister’s Room. All are welcome.
Pre-Children’s Day Church Ground’s Tidy-up:
All help is welcome to tidy up the grounds of the Church and carpark on Saturday 8 June at 2:00 pm. Please bring along any equipment you think will be useful e.g., brushes, shovels, leaf-blowers etc. Many thanks in advance.
Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the congregation is to be held (d.v.) on Tuesday 11June at 8:00 pm in the Church Hall to consider the following resolution recommended by Session and Committee:
‘Given the cost to renovate the Old Manse to a habitable standard, that the building (bar the garage and barn) be demolished and the site be used temporarily as an overflow car park, garden or green area.’
Copies of a Quantity Surveyor’s report on the Old Manse are available in the vestibule.
For the last three weeks in June Norman will be on Sabbatical. During this time emergency pastoral cover is being provided by the Rev Roger McElnea (028 8555 7500).
The Campaigners Inters and Craftsmen Splash outing that was booked for Saturday 1 June has had to be rescheduled to the 15 June due to the team becoming unavailable on the 1st. Departure will be at 9:00 am sharp from Sixmilecross Presbyterian Church and back to the same point by 2:30 pm.
The General Assembly:
The Assembly runs from Monday 3 to Friday 7 July.
Opening night: Monday at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:00 pm). Tickets are not required. (Also broadcast on BBC Radio Ulster MW).
Communion: Tuesday at 11:45 am in the Assembly Hall. Open to all communicants. Please be seated by 11:40am.
Daily Worship: Wednesday (12:15 pm-1:00 pm), Thursday (2:45 pm -3:30 pm).
Wednesday Evening Celebration: 7:45 pm. A bookstall will be available.
Business: most business sessions of the Assembly will be streamed via the PCI website, www.presbyterianireland.org
