Dear Friends
I trust that you are all managing with the present challenging circumstances.   It is a very strange time we are living in, I'm , sure like myself you are missing coming together for congregational worship weekly and  the wider contact that we would usually have in our community.
I have attached this week's devotion, which is an abbreviated version  of the recorded worship time which will be available via the Aughnacloy & Ballymagrane Facebook page from 8 am tomorrow morning 19th April.  The scripture text is 1 Thessalonians 3.  Thank you for your support and interest in last weeks online message, many of you have watched and I trust have known God's blessing through it.
So far there has been quite a good response to the forwarding of email addresses.  Please encourage others, from our congregations to forward their email address in order that they too may be included.  If not forward this to them and ask them to forward their email address to me so that we can all keep in touch.
Thank you, many of you have been keeping contact with each other on the telephone, this is great, keep it up and please remember the most venerable in our congregations at present.  I am available, to be contacted by phone at anytime, please give me a call if you need me, it is always great to here from you.  I am have plans to keep in contact by phone.   However,  there are a large number of call to be made, I may not call you at the point of your need, therefore, do not be hesitate to call me before I call you.
Announcements:
There will be a virtual meeting of the Linkage Commission on Tuesday 26th May, at this meeting our request for leave to call a new minister will be discussed and D.V will be granted.

In light of the present Coronavirus pandemic it is uncertain when our congregations will be able to meet again, it may not be before the end of June.  This is will impact upon our congregations regular income.  With this in mind can we encourage you, if you are able to continue with your regular giving, this can be done through a bank standing order or making direct electronic bank transfers.  Bank details for your congregation can be forwarded on request, either through your congregational treasurer or myself,  to individuals.  If this is not possible we request that you continue to fill up your church envelopes on a regular basis and put them on the offering plate when the current restrictions are lifted.
Keep safe and God Bless you all

May I have this opportunity to wish you all a very blessed Easter as we celebration the Resurrection of our Saviour Jesus Christ.  It has been a very different Easter season, there has been no special services or Good Friday Communion and there will be no Dawn service either.  However, even with out all of these activities we have a risen Saviour.

Dear Friends
I trust that you are all managing with the present challenging circumstances.  I have attached this week's devotion.  I have sent it to all the addresses that have been forwarded to me so far. I do not have contacts for everyone, therefore,  If you are in contact with others from our congregations in particular ask if they have received this, if not forward this to them and ask them to forward their email address to me so that we can all keep in touch.  May I also ask if  possible print a copy for some who has no access to email and bring it to them, It is very important that we keep contact with all age groups in our congregations.
It is also hoped that we will have a recorded time of worship on the Aughnacloy & Ballymagrane Facebook page this evening, however we are having some technical issues with it at the present time, have a wee look later.
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs Evelyn Kyle (Aughnacloy) - we remember her family: Robin, Adrian, Lorna, Valerie, Carol and Raymond in our prayers during this sad time of grief.

These Three Remain

To accompany the many things that congregations are doing in the current cessation of all regular gatherings of church members, the Presbyterian Church in Ireland has launched an initiative called These three remain

While so many things have changed in recent days, we want to remind ourselves of what remains core to our expression of life in God. And so we gladly recall the words of the Apostle Paul to the Corinthian Christians in I Corinthians 13:13, 'And now these three remain: faith, hope and love'.

The aim of the initiative is to draw congregations together in God to express his life and witness in this moment. A range of devotions, prayer points, blogs and stories are provided to encourage and equip churches and their members in these days.

All of this can be found here:

These Three Remain, Faith, Hope & Love
